Dwarf Alberta Spruce, Hermann Missouri, and wineries, and some Music (Issue 122)
And also a new Rutledge genealogy website page
There is a new website page for my two Dwarf Alberta Spruce evergreen shrubs. I do like how they add structure to the garden, give some anchoring, and give some character during the Winter months.
Watch the video on YouTube here. Thanks for watching.
Here is a YouTube video of our trip to Hermann, Missouri, known as Little Germany and the distillaries and wineries, as well as being an old historic town.
Visit the new website page for Hermann with photos and information.
Watch the Hermann Farm YouTube video. I made it separate from the rest of our Hermann visit.
Visit the new website page for Hermann Farm. This is where you can always find informoation I share again, especially using the map and the index. I do go back and delete my Substack posts, but the website is always there.
Here is the video on Youtube.
Here is the new website page with information. We certainly enjoyed one winery over the other. We are just not the party scene type of people and prefer the beautiful views instead.
I just had to share this short song by Paul Zach. I found the whole album and enjoyed his singing in nature and the sounds of nature he incorporates into the music. In this one he says “Take a verse, Bird” and the bird sings! I laughed out loud and that phrase, “Take a verse, Bird!” has been stuck in my head ever since!
I saved the songs on my Playlist and you can find them there to listen to. I highly recommend them! I am always updating this Christian Playlist, so be sure to follow it (or whatever you do on YouTube with playlists others make!)
I also started a new website page for a probable Rutledge ancestor as I try to break down the brick wall. If you are interested in this genealogy, here is the new page. I am going to be working to expand this page to try to break down my brick wall and finally connect to the signer of the Declaration of Independence and the signer of the Constitution. We have DNA that goes there, but there is one missing link and I hope this guy is it, but I have to actually do the research by finding the documents and really getting to know the family to figure it out.
Thanks for reading, as always. I appreciate your interest and the time you give me out of your day to read what I put out there.
