This photo is from 2016, but I still love it when I put my Lily-of-the-Valley in bowls and painted the bowls white. I put them in their the prior year.
See all the photos where I played with Lily-of-the-Valley through the years, the information from my studies, and the video on the website page.
These were my Grandma Rutledge’s favorite flowers, so I love growing them in my garden. They are also the “month flower” for May and Grandpa’s birthday was in May, so I wonder if that is why she loved them. They are so dainty and adorable.
Here is the YouTube video for you to enjoy.
It rained a lot last night, so we were able to get our grocery shopping done. Ah! No garden time in the rain. I’m thanking God for the rain so we could have time to buy food. Am I silly or what?!
I have been telling you about our pipe project, but not showing you photos. There is currently a huge pile of dirt taking up most of the carport. You can see the ditch near the fence and there is pipe down in there. It runs out of the fence on the left and into the front yard. I feel confident that this weekend we can get this first pipe done. There’s just a little digging in the front yard to do, figuring out how to end it so the water flows out, and refilling everything.
There is also a large pile of dirt on the patio. Sigh. However, I believe today may be the day it goes back in the ditch that you see there along the fenceline! Whoo hooo!
I’ve been recording videos every day and have them piled up too! They will be coming your way soon.
Cheryl
I liked the picture of them spread out on the board, on the website.
And I love "the return to happiness" meaning - how sweet that is!
