The Lilac website page is done! Moving right along and it feels good every time I keep pace with my garden’s blooms. I am sharing posts more often than I would like as I do not wish to bombard your inbox, but my flowers are dictating since they are bombarding my garden.
This Lilac is fairly new to me. I have enjoyed watching it and learning about it. It’s such a joy and surprise to see it doing something new. It changes colors from purple, to mauve, to pink, to white depending on what stage of bloom it is in. So fun!
Here is the YouTube video for you to enjoy. As always, I learned a lot! Most important was the pruning tips to prune quickly after it blooms as all the new growth happens in 60 days after bloom, which is quick similar to the Forsythia. Also interesting is how tall this “dwarf” variety gets and how tall the regular varities get.
If you lost a $50 bill, I turned it into the bank where I found it outside on the ground. Would you have kept it or turned it in?
At the end of a long day working in the garden, hubby became a banana.
Little bit of loveliness in front of me. Well, that whiskey barrel is hiding the electrical outlet.
BELOW video, this morning, a little bird kept sitting at the window and looking around inside! I almost did not catch him as I picked up my photo too late.
"Joy is a matter of health. Joy is a matter of productivity.
Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God."
These words were in an article I read from
which I greatly enjoyed.I just combined a Sesame Dressing with a Parmesan Garlic Aioli and created my new favorite thing of the day. Ah. Creating is the fun of life. We were dipping pretzel sticks on the patio.
It’s Monday! Have a great week and find the little things in life that bring you joy.
